Hi. I'm Stuart Hardy. I'm a writer and filmmaker from London. Commonly known as Stubagful.
BA in Creative Writing and Communications from Bangor University, currently an MA filmmaking student at Raindance Film School in London.
I have over ten years of experience marketing my writing on social media.
I have built up a strong following of over 27'000 subscribers on my YouTube channel 'Stubagful'. I post video essays where I discuss popular TV shows with a keen focus on character and story structure. I use what I learn from these projects as the basis for my creative work.
In 2021, I took a short course in filmmaking at MetFilm in London and made my first short film 'The Voice' which went on to win best Horror at Die Laughing Festival 2022 in LA. I have since worked in a production and script advisory capacity on many student projects.
My social media reach has proven beneficial in helping secure locations, cast and crewmembers, and in one case a child actor at short notice. I've worked with highly regarded BBC actors including Michael Fenton Stevens and Simon Fisher-Becker.
